Candy Canes

For all of those out there that celebrate christmas and hang those little candy canes on your christmas trees, here's something for you to think about while you are doing it. :)

THE MEANING OF THE CANDY CANE: (I read this on a candy cane hanging.)

Many years ago, a candy maker wanted to make a candy that symbolized the true meaning of Christmas..Jesus.
The hard candy was shaped like a 'J' to represent Jesus' name. The color white stands for the pureness of Jesus. The color red represents the blood Jesus shed for us.


I don't know who this was written by or if it's true, but I liked it and thought that I would put it up so everyone could see, and possibly add meaning to all those candy canes that they hang. :)
